Human leg found beneath Amritsar-CSMT Express coach in Mumbai

An amputated human leg was found lodged beneath the M2 coach of the Amritsar-CSMT Express during routine maintenance at Mumbai's CSMT coaching yard on Friday. The Government Railway Police (GRP) has launched an investigation, while the body part has been sent for forensic examination

An amputated human leg was found beneath a coach of the Amritsar-CSMT Express during routine maintenance at the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT) coaching yard on Friday morning. The incident prompted an investigation by the Government Railway Police (GRP).
As per GRP, cleaning staff discovered an amputated leg below the knee while washing the train at the CSMT yard. Soon after receiving the information about the incident, officers from the CSMT GRP immediately rushed to the spot, conducted a panchnama and sent the body part to St. George's Government Hospital for further examination.
