A minor fire broke out on Sunday evening in a ground-plus-one structure chawl at Mahakali Nagar on Narayan Hardikar Road, near Sacred Heart School in Worli, Mumbai.

The incident, reported to the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation’s (BMC) Mumbai Fire Brigade (MFB) at 8.45 pm, was caused by a short circuit in the meter room. The fire was confined to seven to eight hutments, and no one was trapped inside the structure.
