Fire breaks out at Mumbai Coastal Road, northbound traffic diverted

Motorists heading north have been diverted via Babulnath-Pedder Road towards Haji Ali. Traffic police have advised commuters to follow the diversion and expect delays

A fire broke out at the entry point of the Mumbai Coastal Road on Wednesday evening, officials said, adding that following the incident the traffic has been diverted.

According to the officials, Mumbai Coastal Road's northbound entry point was temporarily closed after a fire broke out at the spot.
