Mumbai: Fire breaks out at Kandivali high-rise; eight rescued, three admitted to ICU

According to the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC), the blaze erupted in a flat at Agarwal Residency on Shankar Lane. The fire was confined to the hall of room number 205 on the second floor of the 17-storey building and was brought under control within 20 minutes

A fire broke out at a high-rise residential building in Kandivali (West) on Sunday morning, prompting a swift response from the Mumbai Fire Brigade (MFB), officials said.

According to the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC), the blaze erupted in a flat at Agarwal Residency on Shankar Lane. The fire was confined to the hall of room number 205 on the second floor of the 17-storey building and was brought under control within 20 minutes.
