<p>The collection of 30 photographs by the Dutch photographer and artist captures people from major cities across The Netherlands, Germany, China, Ukraine, Senegal, and the USA, alongside their faithful automobiles.</p>

<p>&ldquo;Roemers&rsquo; project was a study of the megacities of the world, and eventually led to his book, Metropolis. During the photography, he realised that their vehicles often tell you a lot about themselves and their society,&rdquo; shared Radhi Parekh, curator, Artisans&rsquo; Centre.</p>

<p>At Nehru Science Centre&rsquo;s (NSC) flameless hot air balloon workshop and competition &mdash; guided by IIT-Bombay&rsquo;s Professor Rajkumar S Pant &mdash; science enthusiasts can expect a short, but soaring, Physics lesson in a workshop-cum-competition held on April 25 and 26. &ldquo;It is based on the principle of hot air. The interesting part is that there are no flames involved, we will heat the balloon with a hot air gun which is a machine similar to a hair dryer,&rdquo; explained Tapas Moharana, a senior curator at NSC, giving us a glimpse into the science behind it.</p>

<p>Ever thought your evening workout could change lives? At Padel For Paws it does. Youth Organisation in Defence of Animals&rsquo; (YODA) collaboration with Padel Park India allows its attendees to book a court and play padel while proceeds from the same go towards animals under their care. While speaking about today&rsquo;s fundraiser, Pooja Shah, marketing head, told this diarist, &ldquo;We are trying to create a space where people from every walk of life &mdash; sports communities, athletes, animal lovers, creators, and donors come together for something bigger than themselves.&rdquo; The protocol is simple, &ldquo;You show up to play, to connect, to be part of something and in doing so, you contribute to meaningful change.&rdquo; Shah added.
