The decomposed body of a woman was found inside a locked rented house at Plot 3, Bandra Plot, near Gate No 6 at Collector Compound in Malvani, Malad, on Monday evening.

According to preliminary information, neighbours noticed a foul smell emanating from the house and alerted Mumbai Police. The house was reportedly locked from the outside. When Malvani Police opened the premises and entered, they found the woman’s body lying inside in a highly decomposed condition.
