Two weeks after the accident at Dadar’s Plaza Cinema Circle that had left seven people injured and claimed the life of a delivery executive, all those who had been undergoing treatment at Sion hospital have now been discharged. Vrishab Gupta, 22, one of the most seriously injured survivors, returned home on Monday, but he still has a long way to go before he can resume his routine.
Gupta, who suffered multiple injuries after being hit in the accident, said the road to recovery remains difficult. “I am thankful to be alive. The doctors have discharged me, but I still require medication and regular check-ups along with rigorous physiotherapy. I am taking things one day at a time and trying to regain my strength,” he said.
