Central Railway suspends operations at CSMT platforms 16 and 17 from Feb 1 for redevelopment work

Foundational work and other essential activities will be carried out during the 85-day block, during which train operations from platforms 16 and 17 will remain suspended until completion of the work and handover of the platforms to Central Railway for traffic operations

Central Railway will operate a traffic and power block at platforms 16 and 17 of Mumbai’s Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT) from February 1 to April 26 to facilitate the redevelopment work being carried out by the Rail Land Development Authority (RLDA).

Foundational work and other essential activities will be carried out during the 85-day block, during which train operations from platforms 16 and 17 will remain suspended until completion of the work and handover of the platforms to Central Railway for traffic operations.
