The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) on Tuesday announced the launch of a city-wide cleanliness competition titled ‘Mumbai Clean League’ after Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar proposed for the initiative.

The campaign is aimed at encouraging active participation from citizens as well as various establishments to improve cleanliness standards across Mumbai.
