The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) will commence cement concretisation work on Nepean Sea Road from Mukesh Chowk to Priyadarshini Park from February 17, marking the first phase of upgrading this key arterial stretch in south Mumbai.

In the initial phase, a 770-metre section (27.45 metres wide) will be concretised. The entire road spans 1,950 metres (including a 200-metre bridge portion), with an overall concretisation of 1,750 metres targeted. The Mumbai civic body has received the no-objection certificate from traffic police and aims to complete this phase before the monsoon.
