BMC inaugurates new dry waste processing centre in Mumbai's Andheri

The dry waste sorting and processing centre has a capacity to scientifically process 10 million tonnes of dry waste per day, officials said, adding that it has been set up under a public-private partnership (PPP) model

The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) on Thursday inaugurated a new dry waste sorting and processing centre in Andheri east area of Mumbai, civic officials said.

The facility was inaugurated by BMC Deputy Commissioner (Zone 3), Vishwas Mote.
