The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) on Friday has carried out a drive to remove illegal encroachments in the Dongri area of Mumbai.

Officials said that nine unauthorised shops were demolished along Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Road and nearby areas in Dongri.
