The Central Railway staff, with the support of passengers, helped a pregnant woman safely deliver a baby boy aboard the Lokmanya Tilak Terminus-Dibrugarh Express while the train was travelling between Bhusaval and Itarsi on May 30, officials said.
The timely response by railway staff ensured the safety of both the mother and newborn before medical assistance was arranged at the next station.
