Mumbai: Airoli-Kalwa elevated suburban corridor achieves 45 per cent progress amid land delays

Airoli-Kalwa Elevated Suburban Corridor has achieved 45 per cent progress, with Phase-I completed and Phase-II delayed due to pending land acquisition and rehabilitation. Of the required 2.40 hectares, 1.87 hectares of government land has been acquired, while 0.53 hectares of private land remains

The Airoli-Kalwa Elevated Suburban Corridor has achieved 45 per cent progress, according to the July 2026 project update, the Mumbai Railway Vikas Corporation (MRVC) said. 

As per officials, the project has been sanctioned at a cost of Rs 476 crore and is being implemented in two phases.
