MMRDA announces Mumbai Metro Line-12A extension along Kalyan-Shilphata Road; Rs 8,414-crore project to ease traffic

The Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) on Friday announced the extension of Metro Line-12 with a new corridor, Metro 12A, along the busy Kalyan–Shilphata Road.
The project, which has received administrative approval of Rs 8,414.53 crore, was announced by Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister and Urban Development Minister Eknath Shinde.
