Maharashtra continued to experience hot and humid weather on Friday, with Vidarbha remaining the hottest region in the state. According to the India Meteorological Department's Pune observatory, Brahmapuri in Chandrapur district recorded the state's highest maximum temperature at 42.9 degrees Celsius.
