Maharashtra weather update: Thunderstorms loom over state as Vidarbha drenched, Pune faces rainfall deficit

Weather observations showed high moisture levels across the region, with relative humidity touching 98 per cent at 8.30 am before dropping to 66 per cent by 5.30 pm. Rainfall measurements indicated 24.2 mm of rain over the previous 24 hours, with an additional 5 mm recorded during the day

Parts of Maharashtra are likely to witness thunderstorms accompanied by lightning and light rainfall on Thursday evening, according to the latest weather forecast.
Temperatures are expected to remain moderate, with the maximum likely to hover around 30 degrees Celsius and the minimum around 23 degrees Celsius.
