Maharashtra's Thane civic body to demolish Wagle ward office building, structure deemed extremely dangerous

The Thane Municipal Corporation (TMC) is planning to demolish the Wagle ward committee office building after the ground-plus-two structure was deemed “extremely dangerous”, an official said on Thursday.

Proposal to be discussed on April 20

The building is around 30 years old, and a proposal to raze it and construct a new one will be taken up for discussion at the TMC general body meeting on April 20, he added, the PTI reported.
