Bhiwandi Police arrested two alleged masterminds behind the Maharashtra Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) paper leak from Bihar, taking the total arrests in the case to 14. Investigators are now probing the interstate network, financial trail, communication records and digital evidence

The Bhiwandi Police on Saturday arrested two alleged masterminds behind the Maharashtra Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) paper leak, taking the total number of arrests in the case to 14. The accused, Bijendra Kumar Gupta and Indrajit Sinha, were arrested in Bihar and were brought to Maharashtra from Bihar on transit remand.
Gupta is believed to be the key conspirator who allegedly orchestrated the procurement and circulation of the leaked question paper ahead of the exam scheduled for June 28. Police suspect that he coordinated the interstate network involved in the leak, while Sinha allegedly assisted and remained in constant touch with other members of the syndicate.
