Maharashtra rains: Rivers cross danger marks, coastal areas face high wave warning

During the last 24 hours, several districts received heavy to very heavy rainfall of more than 65 mm. Palghar recorded the highest rainfall at 203.3 mm, followed by Thane (116.4 mm), Raigad (108.7 mm), Mumbai Suburban (90.4 mm) and Pune (70.9 mm)

The Maharashtra State Disaster Management Authority's State Emergency Operation Centre (SEOC) on Tuesday issued a statewide situation report highlighting the impact of intense monsoon activity, with heavy rainfall triggering landslides, casualties, flooding and dangerous sea conditions across several districts.

During the last 24 hours, several districts received heavy to very heavy rainfall of more than 65 mm. Palghar recorded the highest rainfall at 203.3 mm, followed by Thane (116.4 mm), Raigad (108.7 mm), Mumbai Suburban (90.4 mm) and Pune (70.9 mm).
