The Maharashtra government has approved a set of large-scale industrial proposals worth Rs 2.56 lakh crore, aiming to accelerate investment inflows and generate significant employment across the state. The decision, taken at a high-level meeting chaired by Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, covers 18 mega and ultra-mega projects spanning emerging and core industrial sectors.
According to officials, the projects are expected to create more than 1 lakh direct and indirect jobs, while also strengthening the state’s position as a manufacturing and technology hub.
