Maharashtra govt and Taj Group sign MoU for tourism development at Shiroda-Velagar in Sindhudurg

The Maharashtra government has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Indian Hotels Company Ltd, part of the Taj Group, and the Shiroda-Velagar Landowners Cooperative Society Ltd to speed up tourism development at Shiroda-Velagar in Sindhudurg district, an official statement said on Tuesday.
The agreement was signed in the presence of Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, Deputy Chief Ministers Eknath Shinde and Sunetra Ajit Pawar, Tourism Minister Shambhuraj Desai, Fisheries Development Minister Nitesh Rane and Minister of State for Tourism Indranil Naik.
