Maharashtra govt plans modern jetty at Gateway of India to manage heavy tourist footfall

The Maharashtra government is planning to develop a modern jetty at the Gateway of India to manage heavy tourist footfall and improve passenger movement, reported the PTI.

State Ports Development Minister Nitesh Rane informed the state legislative assembly during the ongoing Maharashtra Budget Session 2026 regarding the modern jetty on Wednesday.
