Maharashtra extends 'E-Peek Pahani' deadline to March 31 to boost farmer participation

Maharashtra Minister Bawankule announced deadline extension of 'E-Peek Pahani'

In a move aimed at ensuring wider participation among farmers, Maharashtra Revenue Minister Chandrashekhar Bawankule on Tuesday announced an extension of the deadline for the ‘E-Peek Pahani’. The E-Peek Pahani is an electronic crop inspection process. The deadline, as per the official statement, has been extended till March 31, 2026, for the 2025-26 Rabi season.

The announcement was made in the state legislative assembly, where Bawankule highlighted that only 55.69 per cent of crop registrations have been completed so far, leaving nearly 45 per cent of farmers yet to be covered under the initiative.
