Several voters in Kalyan returned home disappointed as they could not find their name in the list.

Polling officials explain existence of old and new voter lists

On duty elections officials clarified that some booth have “two lists” of voters, new and old. “If your name is seen online, but polling station list has no name, still go check inside the ward. The ones inside has a new and updated list,” an official said.
