As vote counting continued on Friday for elections to 29 Municipal Corporations across Maharashtra, Union Minister and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Murlidhar Mohol expressed confidence that the party would secure a comfortable majority in the Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC), reported news agency ANI.

‘Pune votes for development,’ says BJP leader

“In the early trends, it is clear that the BJP is winning with a full mandate. I have always believed that Pune prioritises development while voting, which is why the BJP is coming to power with a full majority,” Mohol said, reported ANI.
