Maharashtra Budget Session without opposition leaders: Uddhav targets Mahayuti government, meets Speaker

The former Maharashtra CM met Assembly Speaker Rahul Narwekar and requested appropriate action. He said he requested the speaker to expedite the appointment of a leader of the opposition. In a first, the ongoing budget session of the legislature is functioning without a leader of opposition (LoP)

Shiv Sena (UBT) chief Uddhav Thackeray on Monday expressed frustration over the non-appointment of leaders of the opposition in the Maharashtra legislature despite raising the issue multiple times.
