Maharashtra Deputy CM Eknath Shinde has announced that around 2,900 Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation (ST) buses have been arranged to help Ganesh devotees travel to their hometowns in Konkan and western Maharashtra for Ganeshotsav 2026, an official statement, issued by Shinde's office, said on Sunday.

Shinde was speaking at an event in Thane to launch the distribution of tickets for the free bus service organised by the Shiv Sena.
