15,320 students allotted seats in junior colleges across Maharashtra under special round for 2025-26

A total of 15,320 students – 4,437 in the Arts stream, 3,979 in Commerce, and 6,904 in Science – have been allotted seats in junior colleges in accordance to their priority in the special round

The special admission round for first-year junior college (FYJC) admissions, under the ‘Open to All’ category was held on Monday. A total of 15,320 students – 4,437 in the Arts stream, 3,979 in Commerce, and 6,904 in Science – have been allotted seats in junior colleges in accordance to their priority in the special round.  

Of these, 13,064 students have been directly admitted to junior colleges until Tuesday. This includes 12,090 students admitted through the cap round and 974 under the management of minority quota.
