Major blaze reported at candle-manufacturing unit in Navi Mumbai; firefighters scramble to bring inferno under control

Multiple fire engines from the Navi Mumbai Fire Brigade were rushed to the spot, and firefighters have been battling the flames for nearly 12 hours.
A massive fire broke out late on Thursday night at a manufacturing unit in the Rabale MIDC industrial area of Navi Mumbai, gutting large portions of the facility and causing extensive property damage.
According to officials, the blaze erupted around 2 am at Jel Pharmaceuticals, located on Plot No R/N 952 in the Rabale MIDC zone. The company is said to be involved in the production of wax-based products, which may have intensified the flames.
