Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Aaditya Thackeray has voiced support for his party MP Priyanka Chaturvedi's Private Members' Bill, which seeks to establish a Climate Act and a Climate Council of India.
In a post on X, Aaditya Thackeray wrote, “The Private Members’ Bill for a Climate Act and a Climate Council of India tabled by Shiv Sena (UBT) MP Priyanka Chaturvedi would have created a framework for all stakeholders to act within. Today, even with climate emergencies looming large, the Government of India operates as if nothing is amiss in its interaction with the environment.”
