Dahi Handi 2026: Mumbai records 118 injured govindas until 6 pm, 80 under treatment

Of the 118 injured govindas, five were admitted to hospitals, while 33 had been discharged after receiving treatment, the BMC said. The highest number of injured govindas was reported from KEM Hospital, where 29 were treated. Of them, 14 remained under treatment and 15 were discharged

As many as 118 govindas were injured during Dahi Handi 2026 celebrations in Mumbai, with 80 still under treatment at various government and Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) hospitals, according to an update received till 6 pm on Saturday.
Of the 118 injured govindas, five were admitted to hospitals, while 33 had been discharged after receiving treatment, the BMC said.
