Civic body conducts drive against illegal stalls near Mumbai's Manish Market

Following multiple complaints about encroachments, the A Ward of the civic corporation launched a drive to remove illegal shops on the stretch from Saboo Siddique Road near Manish Market to Carnac Bridge

Twenty-five illegal stalls were demolished during the drive, a BMC official said.
Pedestrians walking on roads near Manish Market – a famous shopping destination in South Mumbai – will now have clear paths as the civic body conducted a drive against illegal stalls, making the road encroachment-free on Wednesday.
