BMC Elections 2026: Samajwadi Party announces first list of 21 candidates for Mumbai civic body polls

The party has nominated 21 candidates in its first list from wards across the city. These include areas such as Pydhonie, Zaveri Bazar, Byculla and Agripada, Sewri, Bhatia Nagar and Shanti Nagar near Wadala in the Island City

The Samajwadi Party (SP) on Friday announced its first list of candidates for the upcoming Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) elections.

In a public announcement, the party said, “As per the instructions of Samajwadi Party Mumbai Maharashtra State President Abu Asim Azmi, the first list of candidates contesting the upcoming Mumbai Municipal Corporation elections has been announced today. We will field our representatives in all constituencies in Mumbai, and the remaining lists will be announced soon.”
