BMC elections 2026: 'NCP prioritises Mahayuti unity ahead of civic polls', says Sunil Tatkare

NCP state president Sunil Tatkare said the party’s priority is to contest the BMC elections 2026 as part of the Mahayuti alliance. He confirmed ongoing talks with Ajit Pawar, Praful Patel and senior Mahayuti leaders, with a final decision expected soon

NCP state president Sunil Tatkare, while speaking to the media on Wednesday, highlighted that the Nationalist Congress Party will make all efforts to ensure that coordination within the Mahayuti alliance is maintained.
In view of strengthening the Mahayuti alliance, the NCP leader further clarified the party’s position for the upcoming BMC elections in 2026.
