BEST electric bus crashes into six vehicles at Gokhale Bridge signal, three injured

A wet-lease electric BEST bus operating between Andheri West and Versova crashed into six vehicles at the Gokhale Bridge signal on Monday around noon, injuring at least three people

A wet-lease electric bus (A-221/36) — running between Andheri West to Versova — of the Brihanmumbai Electric Supply and Transport (BEST) crashed into six vehicles at the Gokhale Bridge signal on Monday at around 12 pm, injuring at least three persons. 

The incident occurred after the driver allegedly let go of the hand brake and the bus moved forward without warning. According to officials, the bus hit four autorickshaws, one car, and a scooter.
