Belasis bridge in Mumbai Central opens for public; 130-year-old ROB rebuilt in 15 months

Belasis Road Overbridge (ROB) in Mumbai Central was opened for public after Maharashtra CM Fadnavis inaugurated it on Thursday, officials said, adding that the 130-year-old bridge was rebuilt in just 15 months.

While the railway-related works were carried out by the Western Railways, the BMC completed girder bracing, deck sheet installation, slab casting and construction of the approach roads.
