BMC files FIR over illegal parking fee collection at free car park in south Mumbai

Civic officials said that they found that certain individuals were unauthorisedly collecting parking charges from motorists. Following which a police complaint was filed at the MRA Marg Police Station

The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) on Tuesday said that it has filed a police complaint after it was found that some individuals were illegally collecting parking fees at a car park near Hutatma Chowk that is meant to be free of charge, officials said.
The incident took place at Hutatma Chowk No. 2 vehicle parking area in the A Ward of the Mumbai civic body.
