The Kalachowki Police in Mumbai have arrested the prime accused of the notorious Irani gang, known for allegedly targeting senior citizens through impersonation and deceit.

The latest incident occurred on October 5, when a 77-year-old woman was approached by two men posing as “police officers.” Claiming that other crooks were eyeing her jewellery, they persuaded her to place her ornaments -- two gold bangles (10 grams each) and a gold necklace (10 grams) -- in a cloth bag for “safekeeping.”
