Mumbai: Husband, in-laws held after father of woman alleges dowry harassment for her death under suspicious circumstances

The deceased had got married in Nov last year. She moved to her husband’s residence in Khar area of Mumbai, after marriage and initially, the relationship was smooth, but within two months, she allegedly started facing harassment from her husband, the FIR states

Around a year after her marriage, a 24-year-old woman has died allegedly under suspicious circumstances in Mumbai following which the police have arrested her husband and in-laws after her father alleged dowry harassment, officials said.
The complaint filed by Radheshyam Satyanarayan Gupta, a resident of Hariharpur village in Jaunpur district, states that his 24-year-old daughter, Neha Gupta, was married to Arvind Manoj Gupta on November 26, 2024.
