Man assaulted after objecting to loud music during Ganpati procession in Mumbai's Goregaon, four held

According to police, the 29-year-old complainant objected to a group playing dhol-tasha and bursting firecrackers outside his residential society during an immersion procession. He began recording the group on his phone, following which an argument broke out

A man was allegedly assaulted and suffered a severe nose injury after objecting to loud music and firecrackers during a Ganpati idol immersion procession in Goregaon East, following which four people were arrested, a Mumbai Police official said on Friday, reported the PTI.
The incident took place on Tuesday morning outside Pradhan Society on Gotewadi Road in Goregaon, the official from Vanrai police station said.
