A birthday celebration in Mumbai's Borivali West ended in legal action after a video allegedly showing celebratory firing on a public road went viral

A Birthday celebration in Borivali West has landed 10 people, including the birthday boy, in legal trouble after a video purportedly showing celebratory firing on a public road went viral on social media. Taking suo motu cognisance of the viral clip, Borivli police registered an FIR.

Police said the incident took place on August 4 near Gharkul Co-operative Housing Society in Gorai-2, where Akash Ramkripal Gupta organised a birthday celebration on a road outside the society.
