A special Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act (MCOCA) court in Mumbai on Monday rejected the bail application of 27-year-old Aakash Sriwastav, an accused in the murder case of former Maharashtra minister Baba Siddique, observing that there was prima facie material linking him to the principal accused and persons alleged to be part of an organised crime syndicate, reported the PTI.
Special MCOCA judge Mahesh Jadhav rejected Sriwastav’s bail plea after hearing arguments from the prosecution and defence.
