<p>Arijit Singh&rsquo;s statement of solidarity with students on July 21 sent us down a rabbit hole, looking for the singer&rsquo;s rebellious side. It unearthed Aar Kobe (Bengali: If not now, when?), a cry for justice and societal change. It&rsquo;s almost better than his chart-topping love ballads.&nbsp;</p>

<p>When the popular British band recorded this track, they would have never anticipated the impact it would have had, and how it went on to empower generations. The song hit No 2 in the UK Singles charts, and became a frequently aired protest song beyond England&rsquo;s shores at a time when world peace and freedom of expression were echoes of each other. Not a bad time to amp up that track list, right?</p>

<p>The title says it all. The Mumbai-based indie musician&rsquo;s distinct no-frills acoustic style and focus on lyricism make it a potent cocktail of kindness and dissent to gulp down this week. This title track from Tewari&rsquo;s eponymous EP has toured the world since its 2019 release. Perhaps, it&rsquo;s time we brought the song, and the idea back home.&nbsp;</p>
