We just received the memo from drag artiste Zeesh aka Zeeshan Ali. It says it’s time you stop being boring spectators and become the stars of the Pride Month celebrations. Drag Housie, a game-ified performance conceptualised by Zeesh as a way to get the audience in on the fun, will open at the Soho House Mumbai in Juhu this weekend.

At the premiere, Zeesh is set to play drag queen to drag king Mx Stallion aka Siaan for an evening of Bollywood-themed humour, improvisation, and games. “I tested the waters initially with a queer bingo, where numbers on the cards were replaced by queer terms. With Drag Housie, I’m hoping to amp up the fun by roping in comedians, musicians, and dancers to keep the ball rolling,” says Zeesh.
