The OG blue-eyed boy of Indie pop is taking us on a walk down memory lane this week. The singer-songwriter’s much-awaited third album Full Moon Chamber is set to release in July, and by the sound of the lead single that’s out, we can safely say Kuhad’s signature sound is here to stay.
Lost Stars by Keira Knightley
Okay, so we were torn between this track and the male version by Adam Levine. Knightley and Levine jam together in the film, Begin Again, the bittersweet love story that also stars the dependable Mark Ruffalo. The nuanced arrangement, especially the guitarplay and the calming violin interludes make for easy listening sessions. With lyrics like “…But are we all lost stars trying to light up the dark,” the track can touch a raw nerve too.
