Author JRR Tolkien introduced the hobbits as a people ‘who eat and drink, often and heartily’ in the introduction to his epic, The Lord Of The Rings (LOTR). He might have enjoyed dropping by Andheri tomorrow as fans gather over high tea to talk all things LOTR.

The concept will be hosted by the supper club, Curritos, founded by Anurag Parab. A fan of the lore, Parab highlights community as the focus of the experience, elevated by food. His approach mirrors Thorin Oakenshield’s phrase from The Hobbit: If more of us valued food and cheer and song over hoarded gold, the world would be a merrier place.
