Kerala celebrates Vishu, the Malayalam New Year, with vibrant rituals, traditional feasts, temple visits and widespread festivities, as the festival spirit sweeps across the state on Wednesday.
Vishu, also known as a harvest festival, marks the beginning of the Malayalam month of Medam.
