Shreya Kalra was born on January 14, 1997, in Indore, Madhya Pradesh. She spent most of her childhood in the city with her brother Manish Kalra.

Shreya completed her schooling at New Digamber Public School and Queens' College in Indore and later got a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) degree. She has also pursued an MBA from the Prestige Institute of Management and Research (PIMR), Indore.

As a young girl, Shreya had always been interested in fashion, dancing and performing.

Shreya started her content creation journey in 2018 on TikTok, where she posted dance videos, lip-sync clips and fashion content. 

After TikTok was banned in India in 2020, Shreya shifted to Instagram and YouTube, where she continued creating content around lifestyle, fashion and entertainment content.

Her first major television appearance was in MTV Roadies Revolution (2020), where she entered as a wildcard contestant in Nikhil Chinapa's gang after impressing Ranvijay Singha in the audition with her physical fitness and dancing skills.

Shreya has also acted in the MX Player series, Heartbeats: Pyaar aur Armaan, which interestingly also starred Shivangi Joshi.

Apart from modelling and content creation, Shreya has also appeared in a number of music videos.

In 2026, she entered Lock Upp: Sach Ya Sazaa, among the few digital creators competing against established television celebrities. 

During her stint on the show, she made headlines and sparked controversies on multiple occasions. 

She emerged as the winner of the show hosted by Farah Khan and Riteish Deshmukh, taking home a handsome prize of Rs 1 crore along with the trophy.
