Netflix has unveiled the first look of its upcoming family drama Unaccustomed Earth, starring Freida Pinto and Siddharth in the lead. Inspired by Jhumpa Lahiri’s acclaimed short story collection of the same name, the series explores love, longing, loss and belonging through the lives of a tight-knit Indian American community.

The series is written by Madhuri Shekar, known for her work on 3 Body Problem and The Nevers. It stars Freida Pinto as Parul Chaudhury and Siddharth as Amit, alongside Indraneil Sengupta, Parveen Kaur, Sarayu Blue, Justin Bartha, Adi Roy, Iyla Sundarsingh Mckaig and Jayant Kripalani.
